BLAST, which stands for Bible Learning and Spiritual Training, began in October 2023 under the leadership and vision of Pastor Matt Hudson as a children’s ministry of Bella Vista Baptist Church. Designed for boys and girls from K4 through sixth grade, BLAST was founded on the conviction that a strong spiritual foundation should be built during the formative years of childhood.

Since its launch, BLAST has completed eight volumes of study, systematically teaching the doctrine of the Bible in a way that is clear, engaging, and life-changing. Each lesson not only explains the truths of Scripture but also challenges children to apply God’s Word in their daily lives.

Core Principles of BLAST:

• BIBLE – Every lesson is firmly rooted in the authority of Scripture.
• LEARNING – Children are encouraged to grow in both knowledge and obedience to God.
• SPIRITUAL – Just as physical training strengthens the body, BLAST equips young people with spiritual training to stand strong in their walk with Christ.
• TRAINING – Through interactive lessons, memory work, and practical applications, children are motivated to know, love, and follow the Lord.

Today, BLAST stands as a vital ministry of Bella Vista Baptist Church, faithfully carrying out Pastor Hudson’s vision to reach and disciple the next generation. By combining Bible learning with spiritual training, BLAST is helping children build their lives on God’s eternal truth and preparing them to live faithfully for Christ.
